Our four artists are selected into the group exhibition Macrocosmi – Ordnungen anderer Art in Bologna, Italy. Pascual Jordan, Berlin and Martina Cavallarin, Italy has curated the exhibition that will take place during the art fair Arte Fiera Bologna.

The macrocosm concerns the world of the extremely large. Here too we make use of various technical aids and models based on physics, mathematics, technology and on philosophy.
In astronomy and cosmology scientists use mathematical models and technical devices such as telescopes and space probes to comprehend the origins, structure and evolution of the universe. Today, the concept of microcosm has been dominated by sociology to mean a small group of individuals whose behaviour is typical of a larger social body encompassing it. A microcosm can be seen as a special kind of epitome. Conversely, a macrocosm is a social body made of smaller compounds.

Dawid´s series MK/AW is a study of the broadcasting patterns can be regarded as the cosmic microwave background. When we think there is no broadcast, maybe it is just us who don´t receive the signals.(eller: MK/AW (Ant War) is one of multiple series by the artist in which he deals with dying identities).

Pernilla Zetterman´s snowy works are hiding an intricate story to a racing track in Sweden. Trollbäcken was nearly her home during her carrier as an athlete. As a non-speaking child she used all her force to extend the limits of her physical body.

Inka and Niclas three works are from the series Saga. Human experience lives in the supranatural space between solid realities and phantasmic imaginings, the transformative moments when fantasies magic the tangible into the metaphysical.

Henrik Isaksson Garnell series Fetus conquer the boundaries of our Earth into the entire cosmos. The life forms the artist has created in his laboratory invites us to participate in his own metaphysical world. The series The Painter´s Skin is his latest work. Skin is the covering that provides the body with its shape. It is through the skins function as a sensory organ that we receive stimulation from the outside, and make contact with the world.
